He did his graduation from IGMC, Nagpur. He Further pursued DNB ophthalmology from UDHI Eye Hospital, Chennai. He Stood first in fellowship entrance and chose to pursue his career in Retina from M. M. Joshi Eye Hospital, Karnataka.
Dr. Sopan Gupte has experties in managing complex Retinal Pathologies like Retinal detachment, Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), High myopia. He deals with diabetic Retionopathy with retinal Laser, Intravitreal Injections and membrane peeling surgeries.
